Ethan Wiechert
Older eras of the university were defined by ballooning deficits and closed doors, I am bringing fiscal responsibility back to the table to ensure the fees students pay benefit them. Progress is incredibly important regarding issues like food insecurity. We need a student leader who has actually led, and been to the metaphorical front lines. I am dedicated to continuing to progress URSA for the betterment of all students -- so that their fees never have to pay a million dollar deficit, so campus groups never feel trapped behind closed doors, and so in 10 years the U of R is the token of successful governance.

Teniola Omotayo
From the bustling city of Lagos, to the mountainous kingdom of Lesotho, and now in the prairies of Canada, I have been exposed to various societal conditions that have stirred and fueled my passion for being a voice for underrepresented groups like students. Being a woman of colour who has spent the majority of her life as a minority, I understand the student struggle of not being heard and being impacted by policies that rarely address our real concerns. My campaign has four major pillars: Listening, Bridging, Advocacy and Practicality. Firstly, listening. Your voices shape my work. Secondly, bridging. I view this role as a bridge between students' voices and the university leadership. Thirdly, advocacy rooted in accountability. I will hold the executive and university leadership accountable for the policies and decisions that affect us students. Lastly, practicality. I will put forth our practical and collaborative solutions that address our problems.

Kelvin Chai
Hi everyone! My name is Kelvin, and I’m a third-year Psychology major with a Biochemistry minor running to be your next VP of Internal Affairs. For the past three years, I’ve been involved as Secretary for the Pre-Dentistry Club. In that role, I’ve helped keep records organized, supported communication within the team, and made sure things stayed on track. Through my involvement in the club, it showed me how important it is to create a space where students with similar goals can connect, support each other, and feel like they belong. As VP of Internal Affairs, I want to help maintain transparency by keeping updates and decisions clear and easy for students to access. I also want to focus on supporting student groups and organizations, so they have strong communication and the support they need to bring fun events for everyone.

Mary Makinwa
My name is Mary Makinwa. I am a dedicated and purpose-driven student committed to creating meaningful impact within my community. I am passionate about service, problem-solving, and advocating for student voices. With a strong interest in social issues and student well being, I bring a thoughtful and balanced approach to leadership. I value collaboration, inclusivity, and practical solutions that enhance the student experience. Through my work and involvement, I strive to build a more connected, supportive, and empowered student community. My goal as the VP Internals of URSA is to ensure effective operation to both the organization and the entire student membership by serving through transparency, accountability, clear communication and valuable student representation.

Siddharth Modi
My name is Siddharth Modi, a 4th-year Computer Science student and international student at the University of Regina. I’m running for VP Internal Affairs because every student deserves to know what their fees pay for, have their voice heard in decisions that affect them, and feel genuinely represented by their student association. URSA is a fresh start for all of us and I want to make sure we get it right.

Anhad K
My name is Anhadleen Kaur Chauhan, and I am a third-year Social Work student at the University of Regina. As VP Student Life, my platform is rooted in three things: inclusion, accessibility, and genuine community. I want to create campus spaces and events that reflect the full diversity of our student body. I want to strengthen peer connection programs, improve awareness of mental health and wellness resources, and make student life feel less like something that happens to some students and not others. I bring lived experience of navigating university without a roadmap, and I want to use that experience to make the path easier for everyone who comes after me.

Hafsa Kadwa
Hafsa is a 3rd-year undergraduate student at the University of Regina, pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. She is a friendly, outgoing, and motivated student who enjoys bringing people together and creating a welcoming campus environment. Her role as an Ambassador Leader has helped her become more confident, step outside her comfort zone, and actively engage with students while supporting campus events. She aims to increase opportunities for involvement, collaborate with student groups, and ensure all events reflect URSA’s commitment to accessibility, diversity, and student well-being. She wants every student to feel welcomed, heard, and encouraged to participate.
